The man greets first

The rules of the greeting are very clear: gentlemen are the first to welcome. It is not polite for a woman to be the first to greet, unless she enters a room where there are more people or if she meets a much older person. If you meet face to face with a man and you expect him to be the first to welcome, but that does not happen, you will still have to salute yourself. Waiting to be greeted is a show of impassivity.

The woman stretches her first hand

If in the past handshake was a popular form of greeting, it is currently used for formal meetings or when we meet a person. For this kind of greeting, the woman is the one who has to stretch her first hand. Hand grip must not be too weak or too strong, and not only your fingers, but your entire palm.
